Getting from Frankfurt (Main) International Airpot ("FRA") to Heidelberg

via train

There are good train connections from the station directly at Frankfurt international airport to Mannheim and from there to Heidelberg.

• use "FRA, Frankfurt Airport" and "Heidelberg Hbf" as the stations to get the list of trains
• you can also get travel info for the local trams and busses: use "Heidelberg Hbf" and "Bunsengymnasium, Heidelberg-Neuenheim" (this is the tram station nearest to the Institute. 5 minutes walk from there.

shuttle service

If you ordered the TLS shuttle (either yourself or via us): The chauffer will meet you at the Meeting point (marked with the sign ). For arrivals at terminal 1 the Meeting point is in Hall B, for arrivals at terminal 2 the Meeting point is in Hall E. TLS estimates 30 minutes between touchdown and arrival at the meeting point.
